What does bachelor's degree mean?

The bachelor degree is the first stage of higher education at the level of world standards and the bachelor's degree is a document of higher education.

Each level of qualification in the university allows you to learn more about the subtleties of future specialization. Therefore, on the basis of this understanding, for each qualification a special curriculum is formed, which distributes knowledge according to future qualifications.

Currently, when technology and knowledge are updated so quickly, it is not necessary for the university to prepare specialists in narrow niche over the next five or six years. As a result, there was a wider curriculum which will more closely match a changing labour market.

Postgraduate education

The duration of studies goes 4 years.

Every year at the department there is a process of recruiting masters who have been trained in one of the specialties of the department,to graduate school.Admission programmes for postgraduate students are available after graduation from the KhAI as well as from another university.Students learn in-depth professional-oriented foreign language throughout their entire education.

The advantage of studying in the postgraduate course on the basis of the Department 407 is the possibility of continuing education in Vancouver Island University with obtaining an international certificate.

GIS Day

Together with the world GIS community, on the second Wednesday of November, our department has a GIS day. It is one of the brightest and expected events throughout the year. Students and lecturers report on their achievements and scientific work,take part in competitions for the best video about study in KhAI and for the most original cake! See photos in galleries.

1001 nights

Every year, third-year students of the whole university go to the recreation center for a few days to celebrate the '1001 nights'.The program of the event includes various contests, games, discos. This holiday will forever remain in the memory of the students of KhAI.

The trade union of students and postgraduates of KhAI

The primary trade union organization of undergraduate and graduate students is a voluntary trade union organization of undergraduate and graduate students of a university. Their purpose is to represent, exercise and protect the training, socio-economic, rights and interests of union members. The trade union committee is responsible for protecting the rights of students, monitoring the quality of living in dormitories and catering in canteens, establishing contacts with the employment center, organizing excursions, events, annual visits to the Carpathians and many others. KhAI Day

Day of the Kharkov Aviation Institute is traditionally considered the main event of the university. This day is celebrated on the last Saturday of May.Graduates of all years gather and meet in the university.On this day a concert, fireworks and dances are organized in the campus.
